Surrendering Your Pet
If you are returning guinea pigs that were adopted from us, find an abandoned guinea pig, or work for county animal control, you do NOT need to join the owner surrender waitlist. Instead, please email thecozycavygprescue@gmail.com for immediate assistance.
If you are an owner who is unable to keep your guinea pig(s), you can try rehoming them yourself in our Facebook group Rehome Michigan Guinea Pigs or other pet rehoming sites. You can also try reaching out to local pet stores, animal control, humane societies, veterinary clinics or any of the pages listed below:

We ask that you be patient, as there are currently 200 families on our surrender waitlist. It will be at lease one year before we are able to assist you.
